What are the steps for working together?

For translation: You send me the text (in French, Spanish and/or Catalan) to be translated and indicate the desired timeframe.
For proofreading: You send me the text that has been written or translated into English.
Depending on the subject matter, complexity and desired timeframe, I will prepare and send you a bespoke quotation. The price is usually calculated per word. It can also be per page or per hour (depending on the nature of the text to be translated or proofread).
We define the timeframe together.
If I have any doubts about the meaning of a term, I will check with you (technical terms, specific context, target audience, etc.)

Why do you only translate into English?

English is my mother tongue. I consider this to be an essential condition for transcribing the subtleties and nuances of my language.

Why is a professional translation better than an automatic translator?

Automatic translation websites, such as Google Translate are useful to gain an idea of the meaning of a text, but remain translations carried out by a ‘machine’ and not a human. Errors are highly likely and your company’s image is at stake, especially for printed documents and in terms of your digital footprint.
